THE CHRIST CANDLE
The
road grows dark, storm clouds are on the horizon
We
light a candle to guide us through the coming storm
As
the flame flickers in our midst,
we
come to remember the story, we come to weather the storm together.
EXTINGUISHING
THE CHRIST CANDLE
The
storm has broken, the deed is done.
The
cross stands defiant, the light has gone out.
But
we wait with hope, we watch the horizon,
Beyond
the storm another dawn awaits
