“We know that the whole creation has been groaning” (Romans 8:22)

In this Creation Time we share in Creation’s groaning.

As children of God we leave this time of prayer and song and listening

going out to continue to care for creation, to work to mend the world.

Christ Candle for Creation Time

In our faith story the first gift is light, light that brings life and hope and love.

We light this candle to remind us of the light of the beginning, the light that can never be put out.

As its light fills the room and our hearts we quiet our hearts to worship.
